Chapter 10

Hope you have gained some insight into what makes a great kitchen.

If you need any assistance in your remodel, keep me in mind.

Check out my website at annskandb.com where you can learn more about me and how I can help you with your project.

All the forms shown here are just a single page from each set. Each topic has several pages to them.

Getting to Know You

The first form may seem to ask for rather personal information but this is needed to create the custom kitchen just for you. I consider the abilities of each person in the home that may be using the kitchen.

Kitchen Planning

This form is a checklist where you can tell me what activities are performed in your kitchen (or you want to be able to perform in your kitchen).

This is just one of several pages.

Kitchen Storage Inventory

To really create a custom kitchen, I need to know what you have and how you use it. This is probable the most intensive of the sheets to fill out. If it seems too overwhelming, you can hire me to do the work for you.

This information is needed so everything has an easily accessible place. As I said in the book, this is about how you live with your stuff.

Appliance Preference Checklist

This is where you have fun. I finally get to hear about all the different appliances, features and styles you desire.

There are several more pages that cover separate cooktops, vent hoods, built-in ovens, microwave ovens, refrigerator, dishwasher and even a few odd items you may wish in your kitchen. Of course, as in all the other forms, you have a place to write in any item not covered.

There is a separate form for specifics about arrangement and looks of your kitchen. That form includes cabinet style and color, countertop materials, sink style and material, flooring etc.  I like to go over that form with you in person so I can ask for clarification and more specifics when needed.
